Custom Made Electronics

Custom computers, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, guitar effects and others.

Hi, I'm Christopher Wyrick and if you reading this then like me you may be nuts,
and you may be bit of a computer geek with aspirations becoming a full on nerd.
Here is a custom computer I buit in 2004 named HAVIC,
or Human Audio Video Interface Console

This is a stand alone 10 mic channel, A/V computer proto-type for live production.
It can also output surround sound, with one of the first touch screens,
a high definition fold down viewing screen, DVD burner and light pipe audio.
There was nothing like it in 2004, so I had to make my own.

Since then I've gotten into the
Raspberry Pi's

Now here are some great projects you can get into

This is the Raspberry Pi Zero with a green case
on which I have hard mounted a 2.8 inch Touch screen.
This is the smallest and least powerful of my Raspberry Pi's
with a 1Gz processor and 512Mb of RAM.
It has the GPIO pin out, mini HDMI video/Audio out,
micro USB, WIFI and Bluetooth, CSI camera port for a
Raspberry Pi camera and a micro USB power connector.
The music in this clip was from a show I did on KMUD radio
in Humboldt, CA that you can hear if you go to the KMUD page

This is the Raspberry Pi 3 B+
1.4GHz Quad core 64-bit processor with 1GB of RAM.
It has the GPIO pin out, HDMI and an 1/8 inch composite
video/Audio out, 4 USB 2.0 ports, ethernet, WIFI and Bluetooth,
CSI camera port for a Raspberry Pi camera, micro USB power connector and
DSI display port for connecting a Raspberry Pi touchscreen display.
I just run this as is, in an aluminum case.

This is the Raspberry 4 B
1.5GHz Quad core 64-bit processor with 4GB of RAM.
It has the GPIO pin out, 2 × micro-HDMI ports and an 1/8 inch
composite video/Audio out, 2 USB 2 ports and 2 USB 3 ports, WIFI and Bluetooth,
ethernet, CSI camera port for a Raspberry Pi camera, USB-C power connector
and a DSI display port for connecting a Raspberry Pi touchscreen display.
I run this one in a clear green case with a GPIO mounted 3.2 inch touch screen

Arduino Projects

This is an easy one to run a RGB LED

Here's is the code for the arduino

Here is an another easy one with 8 LEDs

Here's is the code for the arduino

This one's a little harder with an analog
potentiometer running a Digital servo motor

Here's is the code for the arduino
